Unless expressly stated otherwise, Osan Center retains the copyright and intellectual property rights relating to the Materials it produces and publishes.

Making Materials available for reading or sharing through the website or social media platforms does not transfer any intellectual property rights or grant an unrestricted right to republish, modify, or commercially exploit them.

Materials, photographs, data, or other content belonging to third parties remain subject to the rights of their original owners where the source or applicable rights are identified in the published material.

Readers, journalists, researchers, and institutions may cite Osan Center Materials and use reasonable excerpts for journalistic, research, educational, or other non-commercial purposes, provided that they:

• Preserve the original meaning and context.
• Do not distort the text or present it in a way that changes its meaning.
• Identify Osan Center as the source.
• Name the author when the material is published under the name of a writer or researcher.
• Refer to the title of the original material where appropriate.
• Include a direct link to the original material on the Center’s website when used digitally.

Limited quotation that complies with these conditions does not require prior permission from the Center.

Materials produced by Osan Center may not be republished in full on another website, in print, on another platform, or as part of another media product without prior permission from the Center, unless the material expressly states otherwise.

The Center’s Materials may not be repackaged or presented under the name of another institution or entity, nor may the Center’s name, the author’s name, or source information be removed.

Titles, content, or structure may not be modified in a manner that suggests the altered version is the original version issued by Osan Center.

Osan Center Materials may not be used in commercial products or services, sold, licensed to third parties, or incorporated into paid content or commercial products without the Center’s prior written permission.

This does not prevent media outlets or professional institutions from making limited use of the Center’s Materials in ordinary journalistic coverage, provided that the citation and attribution requirements set out in these Terms are observed.

Original photographs, maps, graphics, infographics, and designs produced by Osan Center form part of its protected Materials unless a different rights notice is provided.

They may not be altered in a way that distorts their meaning, nor may logos, source information, or rights notices be removed.

They may be shared for non-commercial purposes where appropriate and permitted, provided that Osan Center is clearly credited and a link to the original material is included when the visual appears as part of content published on the website.

Standalone reuse, commercial use, or large-scale incorporation into other products or publications may require prior permission from the Center.

Osan Center does not grant rights in photographs or visual materials owned by third parties merely because they appear on its website. Such rights remain with the original rights holders in accordance with accompanying credits and source information.

Original audio and audiovisual materials produced by Osan Center may be shared for journalistic, research, educational, or other non-commercial purposes with clear attribution to the source.

Clips may not be edited, excerpted, dubbed, or reassembled in a way that changes their original meaning or attributes to the Center or speakers positions they did not express.

Commercial use, reproduction, or broad distribution of audio and audiovisual materials requires prior permission from the Center.

When citing Osan Center Materials, the citation should, where appropriate, include the author or researcher’s name, the title of the material, Osan Center for Media and Peace Analysis, the publication date, and a direct link to the material.

For materials published in the name of the Center, the same format may be used with Osan Center identified as the authoring institution.

The name or logo of Osan Center may not be used in a way that implies partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement of an institution, product, or position without the Center’s express permission.

Osan Center may publish articles or contributions under the names of writers, researchers, or independent contributors.

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in signed materials belong to their authors and do not necessarily represent the institutional position of Osan Center.

Statements and positions expressly issued in the name of the Center are treated as institutional materials of Osan Center.

Osan Center seeks to apply its professional and editorial standards in preparing and publishing content. Materials may be corrected or updated when new information becomes available or when a correction is warranted.

Analytical and research materials nevertheless reflect the information and context available at the time they were prepared, and developments or facts may change after publication.

Published analyses, scenarios, or assessments should not be interpreted as guarantees that any particular future outcome will occur.
